Just watched this with some friends. I really enjoyed the large part of it, but I love the concept behind it.
So for those that don't know, here's the deal: In 2009, some freak plague hits the Earth and turns a large portion of the population into vampires (the real kind that burst into flames in the sun, not them damn twilights) who subsequently turn humans or begin to harvest them like animals for their blood. The human population is dangerously low, therefore the vampires don't have enough blood to last long and they're trying to come up with a blood surrogate. Vampires who don't get enough human blood rapidly change into "subsiders," which are bat-like critters who are on the hunt for blood. Anywho, the main characters are looking for blood replacement and stumble on a cure. Blah blah blah people don't want to have the cure, etc. etc. Action, action killing, blood, death, gore, explosions, yay!
