I know they're old movies, but I've been showing my girlfriend classics and old movies I love and we watched Dogma yesterday. I had forgotten how much I really enjoyed this movie (she loved it too, by the way).
How does everyone else here feel about Kevin Smith movies (Dogma, Clerks, Mallrats, etc.)? I know Rikter's seen the DVDs.
I saw him speak once as well (like the "Evening with..." DVDs) at my university and he was absolutely hysterical.

Yeah, I've liked all of his movies. Some more than others, but yeah.
I like Dogma and Chasing Amy the best as far as his more serious movies go. The first Clerks movie is probably my favorite "comedy" of his.
I also enjoyed this, which I'm sure you've seen:

Yeah. The videos like this are all from his "Evening with..." DVDs where he just stands up and answers the questions of the audience.
The one I went to was last year and it was fantastic. It only cost me five bucks too.

He talk about anything interesting?
Yeah. This was right before Watchmen came out and he talked a lot about that, as well as Zack and Miri and other stuff he was working on at the time as well as writing some more comics. Of course, everything was pretty much hilarious and he also talked about rim jobs and some other fun stories about his kids and pets.

I suppose there's no Youtube video of it?

Not that I know of. I can ask a buddy that helps put on all the productions and see if they recorded/posted videos anywhere of the evening, but it was great.
