So has anyone seen the opera? :] Its one of my favorite films! Skip ahead to the trailer if you don't feel like reading. Repo is a great film, but its so underground...I want to spread the word.

Basically...
Repo takes in a future when organ failure is an epidemic...but no worries, a company named GeneCo will finance an organ for you. But if you don't make your payment in time..a repo man will be sent and 'he won't bother to write or to phone you, he'll just rip the still beating heart from your chest'!
As expected from the title, it is a musical..but its more so an opera than anything since there are hardly any speaking parts, lines are sung for the most part. Scenes of the characters' past are done in a unique moving comic form, all drawn by Terrance Zdunich (Graverobber in the film, and one of the film's co-creators). Repo is, in short, a rock opera. If you enjoyed Rocky Horror, you will love this! If you didn't like Rocky Horror...that's fine, I didn't like it either but I love Repo! Haha.

Main Cast:
Anthony Stewart Head (Giles from Buffy)
Sarah Brightman (Broadway legend..Roles include Christine in Broadway's Phantom of the Opera)
Alexa Vega (Spykids)
Paul Sorvino (Law and Order)
Bill Moseley (musician who starred in many cult horror films)
Nivek Ogre (Member of the band Skinny Puppy)
Terrance Zdunich (Co-creator of Repo)
Paris Hilton (Don't let that turn you off or you miss out!)

By the way, I'd like to add this...
Not trying to be annoying, but if you like Repo, consider purchasing the dvd. The creators of Repo were treated so poorly (no advertisement for the film, scenes had to be cut, songs were not made into the film, not enough funds for making the movie)
Support the film and it will increase the chance of there ever being a sequel and/or prequel. The creators have enough material to do it (The idea behind Repo is ten years old atleast), its just a manner of being able to make it because of Lionsgate.

I haven't seen it, but my fiance has. She liked it a lot. Maybe I'll get her on here to talk about it :)

Reno: I'm glad you watched it. Yeah it is pretty weird I guess..but not that weird...to my standards anyway xD

Epyon: Yayyy ^_^ tell us what you think! I'll say it again though, if you like it I highly suggest buying the dvd or atleast the album to support a sequel/prequel to be made.
