I certainly hate the books/movies/Stephanie Meyer.
Anyways, here's (http://www.cracked.com/funny-1552-edward-cullen/)a fun link for anyone else that thinks her and her "vampires" are dumb.

lol. Im NOT a fan!
I just dont understand how it got so popular either.
Boring ass movies. Disgrace to vampires as well.
I like vampires and stuff, so I feel conflicted about this movie. It's definitely not a good movie though...

Have you seen the movie or read the book? They're not vampires. Read the link I posted.

I have no opinion. My ex girlfried loved it. Never seen it or read it. Doesn't bother me, really.
Well if you ever do get a chance to watch Twilight...Don't waste your time!
If you want to watch a good werewolf vs vampire movie, stick with the Underworld movies. Queen of the damned is still one of my favorite vamp movies. And Teen Wolf for a werewolf movie(Joking, but not really).

lmao. i remember teen wolf. my little brother was obsessed with that movie for a while as a kid.
I Agree with Reno on this one. The movie wasn't good. They just turned The awesome thing known as Vampires into a preteen girls fantasy. It should be their Nightmare!

I'm surprised this is even being discussed on here. Twilight is supposed to be the 13-17 year-old girl fad, not 20-something guy fad.
The lady that wrote the books is a mormon from Arizona that had never written anything before in her life (thus the awkward conversations, lack of vocabulary, etc) and had never seen any vampire movie, or read anything about them. Which explains why they sparkle in sunlight instead of dying, and have super hero powers.

I don't have any plans to watch Twilight any time soon. It's more of a romance thing than a vampire thing. It sounds like the Notebook 2.0 from what my ex described the books as.
I just watched Paranormal Activity. The original cut not the theatrical release. It was pretty good. I also have House of the Devil which I'll probably watch tomorrow.

I thought Paranormal activity was crap.
And it was mostly being discussed so I could share the hilarious, aforementioned link. See above.
I just watched paranormal activity on the net a couple weeks ago. I liked it. Funny and freaky.

Oh come on guys, what are you talking about? Twilight is a fine work of literature. And the movie definitely deserves an emmy!
;) Just kidding. I hate Twilight with a passion, literally. I love hating it, I love making fun of it...its the best. I first tried reading the book...I read at least half of it, and most of it I forced myself because I want to actually FINISH it. It had so much fluff in it and there really is no plot...hell, I didn't even get to the point Bella finds out Edward is a vampire meanwhile its in her face the whole time! I watched the movie, only because it was the Rifftrax commentary making fun of it the whole time. Made it so worth it :] Its hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFSn5rs70Rc
I could really go on...its the death of literature if books like this continue to get popular. Its the end of girls wanting to be intelligent, instead of idiots like Bella who want a possessive asshole as a boyfriend. Alright I'm done.
Funny fact: Robert Pattinson (Edward) HATES Edward and Twilight. He feels like he's living out Meyer's 'we dream fantasy' so it makes him feel really, really awkward. He also said Twilight is the kind of book that should have never been published.

Dunno about twilight, its not something I would even bother looking into. I thought paranormal activity was one of the shittiest movies I've seen in a while, however. Went to see it with the girlfriend because we happened to be at the theatres so we figured we might as well watch something. Both of us hated it. Boring, no action, plot, or point.
If you want to go see a movie that has nothing but dialogue between two people in a house, then this is the movie for you.

The original cut or theatrical release? I heard the theater ending is lame. Haven't seen it myself.

I have seen both. both are kinda lame. 1 is a little better then the other though idk which was which.
They had many many alternate endings but most were never shot.

Paranormal activity is good if you let yourself get into it. If you walk in knowing it's fake, pointing out all the mistakes (that camera the guy "bought"? It would never shake. That is why you spend thousands on it), and all of that? I would expect it to be one of the worst movies you'd ever seen. If you watch it and commit to the idea it can be a good movie that you probably won't ever watch again (not because it's scary but it's the sort of movie you watch once and you're done with it).
Spoiler (highlight to read):
The theatre ending is where she picks him up and throws him into the camera then it shows her smiling into the camera while she ate him or whatever. They made that the theatre ending because it's the only ending of the 3 that allowed for a sequel. The first alternative (and directors cut) she walks back up to the room by herself with a knife and her friend comes over the next morning and finds Micah (dead) and calls the cops. She goes down stars and is talking to the cops when the demon leaving slams the door, scaring the cops causing them to shoot her. The third ending, she slits her throat in front of the camera after killing Micah.
