Losing your Tai

There is one question I would like to ask as it has sprung to mind.

If by chance a Sayian was to get his tail cut off would it return after a cirtain period.

I thought of some ideas concerning saiyan tails though.

1. Lower level saiyans have a weakness when their tail is grabbed.
2. A saiyan without a tail can only fight at 80% of their powerlevel.

DISLIKE! Only cuz I'm a saiyan. :-p

The weakness when grabbed is a good idea as far as the show went. I'm not so sure how that would be for balancing in PM though... I think that it would be ok if a saiyan's tail is cut off then they can only fight at 90% but that would just be for the one fight. That way if someone wants to use their turn trying to cut off a saiyan's tail it would do 10% dmg (basically). And it makes sense that if they go Oozaru and then their tail is cut off they wouldn't be able to go to full PL.

That's a good idea. I agree with all of what he said. Even being a saiyan, this just seems more realistic. I mean look at Raditz, his Pl was around 1,200 and yet when his tail was grabbed he couldn't stand it. Then Vegeta, who was stronger could take it, but when his tail was cut off he seemed really drained.

I like the idea of Saiyans having some sort of disadvantage and something like this could be just what it takes^^

Why give a larger disadvantage to the saiyans? We aren't even the strongest race you can pick... How about you can't become oozaru for one month wouldn't that be good enough? A full moon happens once a month so we have to wait for our tail to grow back...

Wait if our tail is cut off we can't grow it back if we are adults. That's the disadvantage already. Which is why I prefer to keeping it coiled around my waist...

Yea ironic huh? It's called great ape but apes don't have tails so if we wanted to be a great ape than we wouldn't have this weakness in the first place. We are great monkeys.

I also move for the fact that a high level saiyan can master their oozaru form. I saw that goku born a low level was never able to master his oozaru even through GT. However Vegeta mastered it being born a elite royal saiyan. He just went crazy in oozaru that one time to see how it felt to be "kakarot". So I guess saiyans with the background of an elite would be able master it at most likely 16,000 I guess.

For example: You can't go Ozaroo, max power level 80% to 90%.

Also the tail grab didn't work on Nappa and his PL was 4000.

it was closer to 9000!!!!!!!

cuz he got scared only when he ( vegeta ) said that it was higher than nine thousand

I don't know for sure. I just googled it and found a couple of different sites that said Goku's initial PL was 5000 and Nappa's was 4000 and Vegeta's was 18000.

I think that the game for SNES had the PLs that way too.

Yea so I just checked the Goku - Nappa fight and your right about Vegeta saying that Goku's PL is over 9000 but they don't specify what Nappa is at... But he gets beat down pretty easy. So, He can't be that close to 9000 or it would be a close fight.

Going just from memory, I believe Nappa has a powerlevel of 4,000. Maybe 5,000.
