Android discussion, feel free to discuss you like/dislikes about this race.

I think they'd be pretty damn interesting to play. Can't detect their PL, they start off with fly and detect PL. Have to kill their opponents to drain their PL so I would think being evil would be the way to go... If I were to play a bad character I would probably go 'droid.

Yeah, android seems hella fun, maybe next round i'll try one out, do they lvl up quickly?

They seem to go in bursts. I've been killed by a player whos an android once so far, and when he first killed me he wasn't that strong. Now hes really strong.

My impression with androids is that they need to be really sneaky (which theyre good at since you cant detect them) and ambush someone weaker while theyre alone. They seem like they would vary a lot. Like theyd start out weaker than everyone most likely since they have to fight to gain pl, but once they get a few fights done, they're probably stronger. Then if they go a few weeks without finding a fight they're then weaker than everyone, then they find some more fights and then they're stronger again.

Androids are beasts. I think they can gain pl quicker than any race, assuming they can find fights they can win. They also have sweet abilities, much better than the other races when it comes to fighting. Between high pl and awesome moves, androids are hard to stop.

The only downside, supposedly, is that they get screwed over in the other world. This is what helps balance them out. Androids rule the living world, accept it. They just don't, or shouldn't, get rewarded in the afterlife.

Android is the awesome racing games and they are the cruels in the race when turned to fight and that to with the speed forge. Their moves are great and hard to stop. It is the fabulous racing game.

I always wanted the androids to have an attack related to their palm gems. Even if it's too powerful, I love the idea to use:

Palm Strike (Android only)
2% Damage, restores 3% ki per successful hit, 5% chance to stun

The Ki Absorb, and even Absorbing when they're "dead," is related to the palm gems. I think it would be sweet if they had an attack though that used them, like grabbing a hold of someone and sucking their power up. I think your Palm Strike idea is a great start.

Seriously, at the time it was so scary when the androids first showed up and overpowered Goku by absorbing his ki through the neck! Then Dr. Gero killed Yamcha by grabbing his mouth the same way. Awesome times.

So yeah, that all lead to the Palm Strike idea. I'm glad it sparked.
